GENERIC UNDERLAY / BARRIER PATCHES - SOLID PATCH WITH NO HOLES CUT -2.25 INCHES DIAMETER ***THIS SIZE IS PERFECT FOR MEDTRONIC GUARDIAN SENSORS AND WILL ALSO WORK WITH INFUSION SETS, DEXCOM G7, STELO, LIBRE 2 OR LIBRE 3 ONLY** Many of our friends have experienced severe adhesive reactions from their SENSORS & INFUSION SETS, so we have made some simple unprinted barrier tapes, with the same hypoallergenic tape used in our patches, that will keep the sensor tape from touching the skin and causing reactions, itching, and/or adhesive chemical burns. The Generic Circular Shaped Adhesive Barrier patches go under the infusion set or sensor, protecting you from the adhesives used in the diabetes technology that you use. The barriers are large enough to protect your skin under your MEDTRONIC GUARDIAN SENSORS, infusion sets, Dexcom G7 or Libre 3 sensors, yet small enough to be completely covered by our designer patches/overlays. We recommend that you also use one of our over patches to additionally secure your sensor. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: The barrier patches are designed to be applied to the skin underneath the sensor to protect sensitive skin from the adhesive of the sensor. Clean and allow the skin to dry in the area where you will be applying the infusion set. Gently peel the barrier patch away from the paper backing and apply it to the clean skin where you want your sensor located. Then apply the sensor or infusion set as you normally would through the barrier patch. Use one of our overlay patches over your sensor or infusion set and barrier patch to keep it secured to the skin. Be sure to pat dry the patches, or use a hair dryer on a low setting to dry the patches, after bathing or showering.

Are you looking for overlays that will keep your Libre 2 sensors secure without causing skin irritation? Our variety of overlays are designed with your fashion and lifestyle in mind. The Sugar Patch Libre 2 overlay patches are precut so that the patch fits securely around your sensor, and will also work perfectly with the Libre 2 GripShield™ from our friends at Deck My Diabetes. The centerpiece that is cut-out of the overlay will be included with your patch, and can be applied to the top of the sensor to complete the design on your patch. There is no reason to pay extra for a sticker to put on your sensor ever again! We use specially formulated medical grade hypoallergenic tape in making all of our overlays and barrier patches. See our CLINICAL DATA SUMMARY for more information on the results of the sensitivity tests performed on our tape. Our tape is designed to last for up to 15 days of wear, depending on your activity level, humidity and temperature levels. The Sugar Patch overlays will last longer when the following application process is followed. Before applying your sensor, use an alcohol swab or non-oily soap and water to clean the skin where your sensor will be located. Be sure that the skin under and around the application site is dry, and avoid using lotions, oils or powders near the sensor or patches. Apply your sensor following the instructions provided by your doctor, or diabetes trainer.
