Patch Material Information

The Sugar Patch uses Medical Grade 100% Polyester Nonwoven Tape with acrylate adhesive developed for medical/surgical use. The Tape has a liner made of 83 lb Poly-coated Kraft paper with silicone release on one side that is easily removed by the user before applying the tape.  The tape is hypoallergenic, lightweight, breathable, conformable, retains adhesion when wet, easy to apply, and lasts for an extended wear of 5-15 days. 

The Sugar Patch has tested the above described tape material prior to making their choice in what tape adhesive to use.  We chose this particular tape for its overall quality and appearance.  We did not experience any fraying around the edges, tearing, or peeling.  The material is amazingly resilient through normal bathing,exercising, and outdoor activities in a very warm humid climate.  Our normal wear time was approximately 10 days per patch.  We did not experience any allergic reactions to the material at any time.
